Job summary

AstraZeneca plc in Mexico is seeking a capable full‑stack developer to design, build, and maintain web interfaces and server-side services. You will integrate APIs, design data flows, and create Power BI reports to translate data into actionable insights.

You will work in an Agile environment with a focus on security, compliance, and quality, leveraging AI coding assistants under proper review to accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience with Java and/or .NET/C# development and software design patterns.
• Knowledge of testing, debugging and maintenance.
• Experience in Scrum / Agile environments.
• Experience with SQL, databases, APIs, cloud platforms, and integration.
• Experience with Power BI and data visualization.
• Familiarity with Docker, SaaS, CI/CD, or similar deployment technologies.
• Experience using AI coding assistants responsibly, including reviewing AI-generated code for quality and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain user-facing interfaces and server-side services.
• Develop APIs, databases, and cloud-based solutions for data and process flows.
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to turn data into insight.
• Participate in design reviews ensuring security, quality, and regulatory alignment.
• Work in Scrum/Agile teams to deliver increments and improve processes.
• Support automation, optimization, and adoption of best practices to speed delivery.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues.
