Job summary

Tyson Foods, Monterrey site, is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to monitor and maintain QC procedures, ensure HACCP alignment, and lead audits across the production line. You will collaborate with production teams to address issues, update SOPs, and drive continuous improvement in food safety standards.

The role requires 2+ years in food QA, a Bachelor’s in a related field, strong English, and proficiency with MS Office and QA software.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within the food industry.
  • Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal; ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, quality standards, and principles of HACCP.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.

Responsibilities

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with ISO 9001, SQF or FSCC22000 or other quality management systems.
  • Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and other quality improvement methodologies.
  • Certification in Food Safety or Quality Management is a plus.
