Job summary

Improving, a modern digital services company, seeks a senior frontend engineer to define target-state architecture and drive modernization of a data-intensive SPA. You will set standards, improve state management, and streamline workflows to create a scalable foundation for our evolving platform.

You’ll collaborate with backend, QA, product stakeholders, and domain experts to migrate from Vue 2 to Vue 3, remediate tech debt, and boost performance across 2D site visualization, interactive 3D

Qualifications

• Track record of planning and executing major frontend framework modernizations.
• Experience modernizing mature, data-intensive single-page applications.
• Strong skills in API integration, asynchronous behavior, state management, debugging, and performance.

• Define the target-state frontend architecture, standards, and development practices
• Modernize state management, component patterns, and development workflows to build a scalable foundation for future growth
• Assess and remediate outdated dependencies, libraries, and technical debt
• Develop and execute migration strategies that minimize disruption to production users
• Own application performance across a platform that combines 2D site visualization, interactive 3D model viewing, inspection data, media management, and work requests

What You’ll Bring

• Nice to have: Vue 2 to Vue 3 migration experience, legacy dependency ecosystem modernization, modern Vue ecosystem libraries, real-time communications, and experience with industrial, engineering, inspection, asset-integrity, maintenance, or digital-twin applications
