Jobtailor is seeking a logistics specialist to manage domestic and international shipments, track progress, and communicate status to stakeholders. You'll monitor performance, maintain carrier scorecards, and prepare shipping documents to ensure regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in transportation or logistics, experience with carriers/3PLs, and strong Excel skills. This role requires attention to detail and effective communication across teams.

Formación

• 2–3 years of experience in transportation or logistics (inbound & outbound freight).
• Experience with carriers, freight forwarders, or 3PLs.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/logistics systems.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments; schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Track shipments, resolve transit issues, and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Monitor vendor, customer, and carrier compliance and performance.
• Maintain carrier scorecards, KPIs, and freight performance reports.
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation and carrier expense transactions.
• Analyze freight costs, demurrage, and accessorial charges; identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support freight expense reporting, scrap claims, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain transportation SOPs and documentation repositories.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, customer service, and cross-functional teams.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
