HP is seeking a Freight Accounting Analyst, a recent graduate role within the Logistics Finance team. The position offers hands-on experience in financial analysis, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end activities while working with S/4HANA, Power BI, and other financial platforms.

Ideal candidates have a four-year degree in finance-related fields and 0–2 years’ experience, with a strong interest in building a career in finance and improving processes through automation.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Financial Engineering, Accounting, Finance, BA, Economics, or related field.
• Recent graduate or 0–2 years of experience in finance, accounting or financial analysis.
• Strong interest in building a career in Finance.

Responsabilités

• Performs account reconciliations and journal entries and supports month-end closing activities.
• Extracts and analyzes financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and key financial drivers.
• Supports financial analysis for the Logistics Finance organization and provides insights to key stakeholders.
• Supports budgeting and forecasting activities, including expense reviews and variance analysis.
• Interprets financial information, including forecasts, budgets, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow data.
• Develops an understanding of the organization's financial processes, operations, and business.
• Supports financial reporting activities while ensuring compliance with reporting standards and corporate policies.
• Uses tools such as S/4HANA, Power BI, and other platforms to analyze data and support process automation.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvement and automation within finance activities.
• Supports priority projects through research, data analysis, and regular communication with internal stakeholders.
