This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Fraud Strategy Senior Manager in Latin America.

We are seeking an experienced Fraud Strategy Senior Manager to lead and shape the long-term fraud prevention and trust initiatives across multiple business lines. In this role, you will define and execute a unified fraud strategy, embedding proactive security measures into product development and business operations. You will manage cross-functional teams, align stakeholders, and implement scalable processes that mitigate risk while enabling growth. This position provides the opportunity to influence organizational fraud posture, leverage innovative tools, and drive operational excellence. Accountabilities
  • Lead the Strategy & Innovation vertical, defining and executing a comprehensive fraud prevention roadmap.
  • Build a unified Trust & Safety posture across Retail, Business, and new product launches.
  • Conduct fraud risk assessments for all products, processes, and features to ensure controls are in place before launch.
  • Translate fraud risks into actionable product and technical requirements, partnering with engineering, product, and data teams.
  • Drive innovation in fraud detection and prevention through automation, tooling, and emerging technologies.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team focused on risk assessment, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Benchmark industry best practices, monitor emerging fraud trends, and recommend systemic improvements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Data-related fields, or Law.
  • 7+ years of experience in Fraud Prevention, Financial Crime, or Enterprise Risk within fintech, payments, banking, or technology sectors.
  • Proven experience developing and implementing fraud strategy, not just operational execution.
  • Strong technical and product fluency, with the ability to work with Product & Engineering to integrate fraud controls.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives, influencing without formal authority.
  • Knowledge of transactional risk, mule accounts, scams, AML-adjacent scenarios, and onboarding risks.
  • Strategic thinker with structured problem-solving skills and strong communication and storytelling abilities.
  • Experience with ML models, decision engines, risk platforms, or crypto-related operations is a plus.
