Qualifikationen

• Over 10 years of embedded firmware development experience.
• At least 5 years leading engineering teams (preferably including managers).
• Deep expertise in embedded microcontrollers/processors (ARM Cortex-M/A), wireless SoCs, RTOS, and embedded Linux.
• Strong knowledge of firmware architecture, MISRA/CERT standards, secure lifecycle, and regulatory compliance.

Aufgaben

• Define multi-year firmware roadmap and common platform across Fire, BMS, and Security lines; integrate edge AI and TinyML.
• Set COE standards for coding, architecture, reviews, testing, and release management with AI governance for safety-critical products.
• Lead diverse firmware and test teams; foster innovation, learning, and inclusion across global locations.
• Drive organizational transformation by implementing AI strategies to boost productivity (AI coding assistants, automated tests, AI triage).
• Hire, develop, and retain top talent with career ladders and upskilling in security, AI, and emerging tech.
• Own firmware delivery for NPI and sustaining engineering within Agile/SAFe in Honeywell’s stage-gate process.
• Track KPIs like on-time delivery, defect rates, code coverage, vulnerability closure, reuse metrics; drive data-driven improvements.
• Lead root-cause analysis and field escalation management for life-safety issues; ensure field orientation in problem resolution.
