albo is seeking an Accounting Lead to become the technical leader of the accounting function. You will drive financial reporting excellence, regulatory compliance, internal controls and the integration of the newly acquired SOFIPO.

This role offers high visibility with executives, auditors and regulators. You will lead month-end close, prepare journal entries and manage audits, while standardizing policies and driving automation across the Group.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 6–10 years of progressive accounting experience in regulated financial institutions.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican NIF; IFRS and CNBV reporting requirements.
• Proven experience leading financial close, audits, internal controls and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations and financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with Mexican NIF; support IFRS and CNBV reporting.
• Coordinate external and internal audits; provide audit support.
• Lead accounting integration for newly acquired SOFIPO.
• Standardize policies, procedures and COA across the group.
• Strengthen internal controls and drive process automation opportunities.
• Partner with Treasury, Tax, FP&A, Operations and Product on strategic initiatives.
• Mentor junior team members and act as accounting SME.
