PayJoy in Mexico City is seeking a FinOps Engineer to build the canonical FinOps data foundation and own recurring financial-data processes. You will design unit economics models, cost structures, margins, and pricing, and automate reporting, reconciliations, and period closes to provide trustworthy numbers for business decisions.

You will create data pipelines from ledger, payments, billing, and cloud sources, ensure data quality, and develop dashboards for stakeholders while supporting

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, information systems, data, finance/accounting, or equivalent.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Advanced SQL and Python; analytical databases / data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery); ELT/ETL pipelines, incremental models, and historical loads.
• Accounting/finance fundamentals (double-entry, clearing, reconciliation, accruals) and BI dashboard design and maintenance.
• Experience: ≤3 years in data/analytics engineering, ideally working with financial data.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain the canonical FinOps data models (unit economics, cost structure, margins, and pricing).
• Establish and document the single source of truth for financial metrics across teams.
• Build and maintain data pipelines from ledger, payments/collections, billing, credit-origination platforms, and cloud.
• Implement data-quality tests and validations at the transaction level.
• Automate reporting, reconciliations, and FinOps processes; own the cadence of period closes.
• Develop and evolve dashboards for stakeholders and handle ad-hoc data requests.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and projection exercises.
