Corning Incorporated is seeking a Finance Operations Analyst, Enterprise Application Support, to provide operational support for enterprise finance apps and collaborate with global teams. The role focuses on process rigor, compliance, and delivering high-quality service across the organization.

You will partner with IT, support strategic initiatives, and contribute to data quality and process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Business/IS or related.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Technical aptitude with a solid understanding of finance processes.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail with data accuracy and controls.

Responsabilidades

• Support daily operations and service delivery for Enterprise Application Support processes and systems.
• Partner with IT and service providers to resolve issues and implement improvements promptly.
• Participate in projects and data integrations, including system implementations and acquisitions.
• Monitor operational metrics, identify gaps, and suggest process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with policies, controls, and audit requirements.
• Support data quality initiatives and standardization efforts.
• Prepare periodic performance reports and recommend actions to improve effectiveness.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to drive outcomes.

Join Corning Shared Services and contribute to the support, optimization, and continuous improvement of enterprise finance applications and processes. In this role, you will collaborate with global teams, support critical business operations, and help ensure process rigor, compliance, and high-quality service delivery across the organization.

What is your role?

As a Finance Operations Analyst, Enterprise Application Support (EAS), you will provide operational support for enterprise finance applications while partnering with internal stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party service providers. You will help maintain system effectiveness, ensure compliance with controls and audit requirements, support strategic initiatives, and identify opportunities to improve data quality, processes, and overall service performance.

What will you do?

• Support daily operations and service delivery for Enterprise Application Support processes and systems.
• Partner with IT and service providers to resolve issues and implement improvements in a timely manner.
• Participate in projects and integration activities, including system implementations and acquisition-related data integrations.
• Monitor operational metrics, identify performance gaps, and recommend process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, controls, and audit requirements.
• Support data quality initiatives and process standardization efforts.
• Prepare periodic performance reports and provide recommendations to improve operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functions and organizational levels to drive successful outcomes.

What do you need to have?

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Technical aptitude with a solid understanding of finance processes.
• Ability to work independently with general supervision.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and process controls.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage issues logically and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with Financial Closing and Consolidation processes.
• Understanding of Finance process areas such as:
  • Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
  • Order-to-Cash (O2C)
  • Record-to-Report (R2R)

• Experience applying digital technologies to improve business processes and controls.
• Exposure to global or international business environments.
• Programming or technical development experience.
