Almavi Resort and Vineyards, part of the Bunkhouse/Hyatt family, seeks a Director of Finance for its Valle de Guadalupe property. You will lead the Finance Department, drive internal controls, and partner with ownership and corporate to maximize revenue and manage costs.

The role requires extensive hotel finance leadership, IFRS/GAAP knowledge, F&B finance expertise, and bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, with a focus on pre-opening and renovation budgets.

Formación

• Experience as a Controller in Mexico within an internationally branded hotel context.
• 10+ years in hotel/hospitality with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience in Food & Beverage finance with multiple outlets.
• Proficiency in IFRS, GAAP, and USALI accounting standards.
• Experience with pre-opening budgets and renovations budgets.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; other languages a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Finance Department and collaborate with GM, Ownership, and Corporate office.
• Ensure accurate reports: GL reconciliation, monthly/quarterly tax filings, close cycles.
• Create and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to maximize revenues and reduce expenses.
• Oversee budgets, forecasting, capital projects, and long-term planning.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and protect assets.
