Job summary

CooperVision in Mexico is seeking a Finance Controller to lead all financial operations and governance for the region. The role partners with the Mexico General Manager and regional teams to drive performance, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning, while upholding U.S. GAAP and Mexican GAAP compliance.

The successful candidate will manage month-end closes, cash flow, tax, and internal controls, and develop a high-performing local finance team across the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Mexican GAAP.
• Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Proven ability to manage month-end close in a multinational environment.
• Fluent in English and Spanish with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations in Mexico as part of leadership team.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Coordinate with GM, regional teams to drive financial performance.
• Manage cash flow, tax compliance, and external audits.
• Develop and mentor the local finance team and maintain governance.
