Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a FIELD SPECIALIST – LWD/DD to join our Drilling Services team in Ciudad del Carmen, Mexico. The role focuses on Logging while Drilling and directional drilling services at the well site, requiring hands-on problem solving and strong collaboration with field personnel.

The position demands a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years in directional drilling, with proficiency in relevant software and hands-on field experience. English fluency and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical) or related.
• 5+ years of experience in Directional Drilling Services in the last 10 years, verified with employment verification letter and field reports.
• Be a good communicator and fluent in English.
• Be a good team player with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resolution to moderately complex problems at the well site.
• Troubleshoot using hands-on experience and classroom training of standard principles.
• Know operational status of field equipment at the well site and maintain when appropriate.
• Execute other related duties as assigned.
• Comply with Baker Hughes HSE policies and Core Values.
• Report for Drilling Services portfolio activities (FE and DD).
• Demonstrate knowledge of Wellbore Placement and Hydraulics, Torque & Drag simulations.
