Job summary

Halliburton in Mexico seeks an experienced MWD Field Engineer to supervise on-site MWD operations, manage tool preparations, data acquisition and QC, and deliver reliable results to clients.

As lead engineer on most jobs, you will ensure data accuracy, train junior personnel, coordinate with the Directional Driller, and document daily reports and cost data, while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of field experience in MWD.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline preferred.
• Proficient in MWD software and capable of performing survey calculations and data quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site supervision of the MWD process, including tool prep, data acquisition, and QC.
• Act as lead engineer on most jobs and ensure data accuracy for the customer.
• Interface with the Directional Driller to ensure BHA compatibility and survey references.
• Complete daily MWD reports and cost submissions as applicable.
• Train and develop junior personnel; foster teamwork.
