Job summary

Halliburton in Mexico's Tabasco region is seeking an experienced geosteering professional to lead complex pre-well planning and provide real-time data interpretation to optimize well placement. You will perform logging data analysis, geological interpretation, and report writing while ensuring data quality and proper loading into geosteering software.

A STEM degree and at least 2.5 years in the industry are required, including 1 year in geosteering.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering or other STEM field.
• 2.5+ years in the oil and gas industry with geosteering experience.
• Experience with data logging and geological interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Lead geosteering in baseline and complex projects, advising on well planning.
• Provide logging data analysis and geological interpretation to optimize well placement.
• Ensure pre-well data collection and quality checks; load into geosteering software.
• Prepare detailed reports and communicate recommendations to customers.
