Carestream Health is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customers in Mexico. The role involves diagnosing and repairing medical equipment, performing installations and preventive maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely service visits.

Ideal candidates have an Electronic/Mechatronics/Biomedical Engineering background with at least one year of experience in field service. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Formación

  • Electronic/Mechatronics/Biomedical engineering degree required.
  • Minimum one year of field service experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

  • Resolve customer issues remotely and onsite to ensure full satisfaction.
  • Perform repairs and preventive maintenance following service manuals and procedures.
  • Order parts, manage inventories, and document service activities.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and simple training to customers during visits.
  • Maintain data integrity in service reports and related administration.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Focus on resolving customer’s issues to their complete satisfaction
  • Resolve the problems both remotely and in the field to the customers delight
  • Solves the customer’s problem the first time
  • Focuses in on break fix problems with the support of the COE team
  • Delivers solution to the customer and CSH on time and at the lowest cost possible
  • Adds knowledge articles to the Service knowledge management system
  • Establish good communications and relationship with customers
  • Present a professional image and promote customer confidence
  • Individual will contact customers, set up appointments, and communicate effectively during onsite visits
  • Responsible for parts ordering and management
  • Timely and effective repair of customer equipment
  • Follow escalation processes and communicate to the appropriate level regarding problem equipment or customers satisfaction issues
  • Ensures data integrity in call reporting, expense reporting and other administrative requirements
  • Diagnose/repair equipment according to established processes, documents, service manuals, and software tools
  • Performs equipment maintenance/installation according to specifications
  • Performs systems verification in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Train and provide simple repair information to customers for operating their system
  • Attain system/customer knowledge to maximize system performance and customer satisfaction
  • Responsible for assigned and back up accounts and for growing the service agreement business
  • Able to work on standby and respond to call outs after hours. Some territories may require extended travel and overnight stay
  • Continues to develop skills towards new technologies
Required Skills & Education:
  • Electronic or Mechatronics or Bionic or Biomedical Engineer
  • Minimum one year or experience (not indispensable)
