Job Summary

This role will lead a team of Integration Engineers, Data Engineers, and Test Engineers in LATAM, partnering closely with the India team to provide continuity of IT delivery and support across locations. The role will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, developing a strong understanding of business capabilities, priorities, processes, and outcomes and translating them into effective technology solutions. The individual will have end‑to‑end ownership of technology solutions supporting assigned business capabilities, including solutions delivered through vendor platforms, and will be accountable for ensuring they meet business needs, architectural direction, quality expectations, and operational requirements.

This leader is expected to operate independently, lead technical teams through influence, constructively challenge proposed solutions when appropriate, and drive decisions toward the best business and technology outcome. The role will also partner with technical leadership and functional Centers of Excellence (COEs) to ensure delivery teams consistently follow established engineering, architecture, integration, data, testing, security, and operational standards.

Essential Job Functions

Business & Solution Ownership

  • Develop a strong understanding of assigned business capabilities, processes, priorities, and outcomes, working closely with business stakeholders to translate business needs into effective technology solutions.

  • Act as the end‑to‑end technology owner for assigned business capabilities, maintaining accountability across solution design, integration, data, testing, implementation, production support, and ongoing evolution.

  • Ensure technology solutions address the underlying business need, rather than simply implementing individual requirements or vendor capabilities.

  • Maintain a holistic view of the solution across internal systems, integrations, data flows, vendor platforms, and operational processes.

Technical Leadership & Challenge

  • Provide technical leadership across delivery teams, ensuring proposed solutions are fit for purpose, scalable, supportable, secure, and aligned with enterprise technology direction.

  • Review and constructively challenge technical designs, estimates, vendor recommendations, implementation approaches, and delivery decisions when they do not sufficiently address business needs or established technical standards.

  • Lead technical teams through influence rather than organizational authority, creating alignment across engineering, data, integration, testing, architecture, operations, and vendor teams.

  • Drive technical decisions and facilitate resolution when multiple teams, technologies, or vendors are involved in delivering a business capability.

Vendor Solution Ownership

  • Own the overall solution outcome even when significant components are delivered by third‑party vendors, ensuring accountability does not stop at the vendor or platform boundary.

  • Evaluate vendor solutions in the context of the broader business capability, including integration, data, security, supportability, resiliency, and operational impact.

  • Hold vendors and internal delivery teams accountable for meeting agreed technical standards, solution requirements, quality expectations, and delivery commitments.

  • Ensure vendor capabilities are appropriately integrated into the enterprise technology landscape rather than treated as standalone solutions.

COE & Engineering Standards

  • Partner with technical leadership and relevant Centers of Excellence (COEs) to understand established architecture, engineering, integration, data, testing, security, and operational standards.

  • Ensure delivery teams consistently apply COE standards, approved patterns, reusable components, and engineering practices.

  • Identify and elevate deviations from established standards, working with technical leadership to determine when exceptions are justified.

  • Provide feedback to COEs based on delivery experience to help evolve standards and practices where appropriate.

Delivery & Operational Accountability

  • Maintain end‑to‑end accountability from business need through design, build, testing, implementation, stabilization, and production support.

  • Proactively identify dependencies, technical risks, delivery constraints, and cross‑team impacts and drive them to resolution.

  • Balance business priorities, technical quality, delivery timelines, cost, and operational risk when making or influencing solution decisions.

  • Ensure solutions transition effectively into production with appropriate documentation, controls, monitoring, support processes, and knowledge transfer.
