Ausenco is expanding its Mining & Minerals team and seeks Designers and Engineers across disciplines at Senior, Intermediate and Junior levels. You’ll work on a variety of mining projects, creating multidisciplinary designs, 2D/3D drawings, and deliverables across CAD platforms.

Travel to project sites is possible, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and client service. The role emphasizes proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with Revit/Navisworks/Plant3D, and values effective

Our Mining & Minerals team is focused on creating a pipeline of talented Designers and Engineers across all disciplines with different levels of experience—Senior, Intermediate, and Junior to join us. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with excellent technical and interpersonal skills to work with our talented team in delivering outstanding service to our clients. Opportunities exist for experienced, Structural Steel Designers, Piping Designers, Civil -Structural and Architectural Designers, Process Designers and Engineers.

You’ll work across a variety of interesting and challenging projects providing services of multidisciplinary engineering and design for mining projects.

About the role

Depending on your technical skillset, duties may include:

• Develop and prepare engineering drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specifications, data sheets, data bases and other templates for records.
• Conduct risk analysis for designs, identify potential challenges, and propose effective solutions.
• Ensure accurate representation of the design in 2D and/or 3D models for further reviews and comments, in compliance with design specifications.
• Perform and verify calculations for selection of equipment and materials according to industrial practices.
• Basic knowledge of safety standards and interdisciplinary systems integration is desirable.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• Mining and industrial background with a demonstrated background in the design is preferred.
• Experience in consulting engineering is desirable.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must.
• Experience withRevit, Navisworks and Smart suites (like Plant3Dand Piping 3D) is desirable.
• Flexible and open to occasional travel to project sites as required.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of multi-functional project teams is a must.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Spanish and English.
• Ability to communicate professionally in English & Spanish.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet established deadlines.
• Strong people skills and a desire and ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Being proactive, collaborative and easily adaptable in changing environments like projects is key.
