Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive technical SEO audits of websites, identifying issues related to crawlability, indexability, site speed, mobile-friendliness, and structured data.
• Develop and execute strategic technical SEO plans to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
• Implement schema markup and structured data to enhance search engine understanding and rich snippet opportunities.
• Analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and SEMrush.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement technical SEO recommendations and ensure best practices are followed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest search engine algorithm updates and industry trends.
• Monitor website health and identify potential SEO issues proactively.
• Provide clear and concise reports on technical SEO performance and recommendations.
• Advise on website architecture, URL structures, and internal linking strategies.
• Work closely with content and off-page SEO teams to ensure a holistic SEO approach.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Technical SEO Specialist or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful technical SEO campaigns.
• In-depth knowledge of website crawlers, indexing, and search engine algorithms.
• Proficiency with technical SEO tools (e.g., Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Search Console, Google Analytics).
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and how they impact SEO.
• Experience with structured data (Schema.org) implementation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with website speed optimization techniques.
