BD is seeking a candidate in Nogales, Mexico, to join the Excellence/CI team. The role focuses on improving processes, leading focused improvement projects, and driving cost-to-win initiatives across manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate has a engineering degree and 3+ years of manufacturing experience, with strong problem-solving and CI skills, and proficiency in English at an upper/intermediate level.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience in a plant.
• Experience with continuous improvement (CI) projects and problem solving is advantageous.
• Language skills include upper and intermediate levels.

Responsabilidades

• Active member of Focused Improvement component team.
• Develop and grow problem solving capability at all levels.
• Support implementation of CI projects across all dimensions SQDC.
• Coordinate activity of component teams and CI project teams to eliminate losses per strategic goals.
• Help deliver a multi-year Cost to Win (CtW) portfolio and optimize the loss landscape.
• Teach and coach BD Excellence concepts and systematic approaches, including strategy deployment and Zero Loss mindset.
• Lead and facilitate breakthrough Kaizen events and support other BD Excellence components in problem solving.
• Support development of zero loss mindset to improve safety, quality, and reliability.

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other bachelor’s degree preferred
