Tata Consultancy Services in Querétaro is seeking a QA engineer focused on ETL, BI, and data feeds, testing methodologies, and Azure cloud tech to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and scalable pipelines.

You will validate data feeds, perform end-to-end testing of CSV/JSON/XML, collaborate with data engineers, and help implement robust feed configurations and error logging. Relocation to Querétaro or other cities may be required; hybrid work with office attendance three days per week.

• Advanced knowledge and strong experience in QA testing, with a focus on ETL, BI.

Responsabilidades

• Validate incoming data feeds for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Perform data integrity checks between source systems and target systems.
• Ensure proper handling of data transformations, mappings, and business rules in ETL pipelines.
• Conduct end-to-end testing of data feeds, including file format validation (e.g., CSV, JSON, XML).
• Monitor and validate scheduled data feed jobs for successful execution and error handling.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues in data feeds and provide actionable recommendations for resolution.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure proper feed configurations and error logging mechanisms.

This role focuses on building test methodologies for ETL pipelines, data feeds, and BI solutions, leveraging Microsoft Azure cloud technologies. The position ensures data accuracy, reliability, and scalability in On-prem & cloud-hosted ecosystems, supporting the mission to deliver tailored insurance solutions, effective risk management strategies, and organizational wellbeing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate incoming data feeds for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Perform data integrity checks between source systems and target systems.
• Ensure proper handling of data transformations, mappings, and business rules in ETL pipelines.
• Conduct end-to-end testing of data feeds, including file format validation (e.g., CSV, JSON, XML).
• Monitor and validate scheduled data feed jobs for successful execution and error handling.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues in data feeds and provide actionable recommendations for resolution.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure proper feed configurations and error logging mechanisms.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in feed validation processes, including data integrity and format validation.
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation, reconciliation, and testing.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, SSIS) and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and database systems.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks, including Selenium/Python
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure cloud technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• 10+ years of experience in QA testing, with a focus on ETL, BI, feed validation, automation, and cloud technologies.
