Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a QA Automation Tester to own automated testing for HR SaaS web apps. The role requires hands-on Playwright and Mabl experience, plus the ability to design and maintain robust end-to-end test suites.

Strong English, CI/CD integration, and collaboration with SAP and business teams are essential. Expect hybrid work with on-site attendance several days weekly in Mexico, with relocation options as needed.

TCS is looking for a QA Automation Tester (PlayWright)

(Candidate needs to be located or relocate to Querétaro, CDMX, Guadalajara or Monterrey, it will be requested to attend office at least 3 day per week)

Job summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Automation Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in manual and automated functional testing, with the ability to take full ownership of quality assurance across the software development lifecycle. The role requires a mix of functional validation, test design, automation skills, and collaboration across teams.

Experience required and main responsibilities

• Advanced English (interviews will be conducted in this language)
• 4+ years of hands-on test automation experience, including direct experience with mabl and playwright (or comparable low code + code-based tools combination)
• Design, build, and maintain automated end to end test suites for HR Saas web applications using mabl’s low code, AI/self-healing test creation.
• Automate data flows and business logic between HR applications and SAP integrations (SuccessFactors, ECP, SAP CPI/Integrations).
• Validate data integrity and error handling for inbound/outbound SAP integrations which are primarily file based or point to point replication.
• Integrate mabl and playwright test suits into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Harness etc) for continuous testing on every release where applicable.
• Triage test failures, distinguish true defect and drive them to resolution with various stakeholders and development teams.
• Collaborate with business, SAP dev & integration teams to translate requirements and acceptance criteria into automated test coverage.
• Report on test coverage, execution results and risks to support release go/no-go decisions.
• Contribute to test strategy, tooling decisions and continuous improvement of the automation framework.
• Strong understanding of QA fundamentals: test planning, regression strategy, defect lifecycle and SDLC lifecycle
• Should be able to work with test/defect management tools like JIRA, Practitest, or similar
