Emerson Electric Co. is seeking an engineering-intern candidate in Mexicali to assist on the design and development of assembly and testing equipment for fluid control products. You will help develop test fixtures, contribute to structural CAD work, and support manufacturing tooling efforts.

The role emphasizes learning, practical application of CAD, and collaboration across engineering and manufacturing teams to improve efficiency and reliability.

Formación

• Pursuing Mechanical Engineering with at least the sixth semester completed.
• Basic knowledge of CAD design principles and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with industrial manufacturing processes and mechanical systems.
• Understanding of mechanical tolerances, tooling, and dimensional measurement techniques.
• Basic knowledge of machining processes and manufacturing methods.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical data.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with completion of at least the sixth semester or equivalent academic progress.
• Basic knowledge of CAD design principles and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with industrial manufacturing processes and mechanical systems.
• Understanding of mechanical tolerances, tooling, and dimensional measurement techniques.
• Basic knowledge of machining processes and manufacturing methods.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical data.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart

• Experience using Creo/Pro-E, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis tools such as Minitab.
• Understanding of dimensional metrology tools, including calipers and optical measurement systems.
• Knowledge of SI and ISO measurement systems and conversions.
• Participation in academic engineering projects, internships, research, or extracurricular technical activities.
• Interest in manufacturing, product development, automation, or testing environments.
