Construction Specialties, Inc. is seeking a detail-focused quotation specialist in Ciudad Acuña, Mexico, to interpret customer requirements and prepare accurate price quotations from architectural drawings and specifications.

You will coordinate with sales representatives and internal teams to gather missing information, revise takeoffs, and produce timely bids while supporting order entry and production planning. Strong MS Office and CRM skills are preferred.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Construction industry knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Detail-oriented and proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Knowledge of CRM/Salesforce is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Interprets customer requirements and prepares and revises takeoffs and quotations based on customer product requirements from architectural drawings and verbal or written emails and specifications.
• Corresponds and contacts sales reps to obtain missing info, recommends change or substitution to improve cost, delivery, or product.
• Interacts with sales reps and internal personnel to provide accurate bidding.
• Assists in providing details for order entry, drafting, production and layout of orders received.
• Works from emails, takeoffs, drawings, bid forms, verbal and written requests to prepare quotes.
• Provides technical product support to designers and customers as related to the quotes.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management
• Reports directly to the department supervisor.

SCOPE OF POSITION

Interprets product requirements from takeoffs, specifications and verbal/written requests to create sales quotations. Prepares informational price quotations. Corresponds with field representatives, architects, subcontractors/contractors and internal personnel in preparation of sales quotations in an office environment.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION: (Minimum Education and/or Experience required)

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Construction industry knowledge and computer literacy is a plus.

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

• Communication skills necessary to work effectively with both internal and external customers

• Detail-oriented

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

• Knowledge of CRM/Salesforce a plus
