Job summary

LHH in Mexico is seeking a Payroll Specialist to process payroll for hourly and salaried employees while ensuring accuracy and compliance with Mexican regulations. The role requires hands-on experience with ADP and HRIS platforms, advanced Excel, and strong analytical skills.

The ideal candidate will bring 4+ years of payroll experience in Mexico, bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and a detail-oriented approach to reporting, audits, and year-end filings, under the supervision of the Payroll

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• 4+ years of payroll experience in Mexico.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican payroll legislation and labor regulations.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience using ADP payroll systems and HRIS platforms.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and timely for hourly and salaried employees.
• Ensure correct calculation of taxes, deductions, benefits, and statutory payments.
• Maintain compliance with Mexican labor, tax, IMSS, and INFONAVIT regulations.
• Resolve payroll inquiries and discrepancies for employees and managers.
• Prepare payroll reports, audits, and year-end government filings.
• Support the Payroll Manager and provide backup leadership when required.
