Job summary

QIMA is seeking a Trainee Auditor to develop as a SMETA auditor and progress toward CSCA status. The role focuses on social compliance and environmental audits across manufacturing sites, with an emphasis on international travel and strict ethics.

The position offers training, mentoring, and pathway support through APSCA, with career growth in sustainability and auditing. Onsite work in Mexico and global client exposure are expected.

Qualifications

• Currently completing final semesters of a master’s degree.
• Fluent English is required.
• Willingness to travel 80% of the time.
• Interest in international social compliance and auditing.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Strong analytical, communication, interviewing, and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct social compliance and environmental audits at client supplier sites, including announced and unannounced audits.
• Assess compliance with international standards, SMETA requirements, client procedures and local regulations.
• Evaluate labor, health and safety, environment, ethics, and responsible business practices.
• Identify violations and document audit findings, evidence, and observations.
• Prepare clear, accurate audit reports for clients.
