Job summary

Safran Cabin is seeking an Environmental Safety Specialist to implement and monitor the company’s environmental management system in line with Mexican regulations and international certifications. The role involves coordinating safety projects, promoting continuous improvement, and maintaining emergency response plans with federal and local authorities.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in environmental legislation and chemical processes.
University degree in Environmental, Chemical, Industrial Engineering.
Up-to-date knowledge of environmental issues (SEMARNAT, STPS, IMSS, SPA, CEPSP, Civil Protection).
Basic–intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Intermediate English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Implement, monitor, and audit the environmental management system in compliance with regulations, international certifications, and corporate requirements.
Participate in safety projects and ensure compliance with guidelines.
Promote and participate in continuous improvement projects within the job scope.
Implement industrial safety programs by communicating policies, procedures, and regulations to personnel.
Maintain the contingency plan by coordinating with authorities to establish emergency response plans.
Perform other duties inherent to the position as needed.
