The Gund Company is seeking an entry-level Process Engineer I to learn and apply engineering fundamentals within a manufacturing environment. You will support continuous improvement, assist with process optimization, and work under guidance from senior engineers and plant leadership on department-level projects.

Responsibilities include data analysis, supporting Kaizen events, creating and updating process documentation, and developing capital project plans while building Lean process knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 2–4 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• OSHA/NOM Safety competency in industrial environment.
• English proficiency at B1 level.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential.
• CAD / SolidWorks experience preferred.
• Lean manufacturing and problem-solving skills required.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities are important.

Responsabilités

• Learn and apply engineering fundamentals to support manufacturing process improvements related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and waste reduction.
• Support Kaizen events, Lean improvement projects, and root cause investigations using structured methods.
• Collect, organize, and analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Create CAD drawings and update documentation for new equipment/tooling and processes.
• Lead or support capital projects and develop test/trial plans for evaluating materials and parts.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and health regulations on the production floor.
