Job summary

GDL Connect in Guadalajara, Mexico, is seeking an entry-level accounting assistant to grow their career while gaining hands-on experience in finance operations.

You will assist with daily financial transactions, reconciliations, reporting, and month-end close support, recording and classifying entries, performing bank reconciliations, and collaborating with departments for data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP & basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite).
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Strong communication and collaborative work abilities.

Responsibilities

• Record and classify financial transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Support processing of payments to vendors, investors, and third parties.
• Track and reconcile funding, payoffs, and servicing entries.
• Collaborate with departments for financial data accuracy.
