You will educate guests on nutrition and healthy living, lead small group sessions, and collaborate with spa and dining teams to offer holistic wellness packages in a world‑class destination.

Qualifications

• Certification from ACE, NASM, ACSM, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a personal trainer.
• Experience in resort/hospitality settings preferred.
• Fluency in English; Spanish a plus, multilingual is a bonus.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized fitness and wellness programs for resort guests, considering their specific goals, physical conditions, and preferences.
• Conduct fitness assessments, including cardiovascular, strength, and flexibility tests, to establish baseline measurements and track progress.
• Provide one‑on‑one and small group training sessions, demonstrating proper exercise techniques and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Educate guests on nutrition, healthy lifestyle choices, and the importance of regular physical activity.
• Offer specialized training, such as beachfront boot camps, yoga sessions, or water aerobics, tailored to the resort's offerings.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including progress reports and session notes.
• Collaborate with other resort departments, such as spa and food & beverage, to offer integrated wellness packages.
• Stay updated on the latest fitness trends, methodologies, and equipment, continuously enhancing service delivery.
• Promote fitness services to guests, encouraging participation and maximizing service utilization.

Requirements

• Certification from a recognized personal training institution (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM) is mandatory.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a personal trainer, preferably in a high‑end hotel, resort, or spa environment.
• Proficiency in conducting fitness assessments and designing personalized workout plans.
• Excellent knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and nutrition principles.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and connect with a diverse clientele.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Spanish is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are essential.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on guest demand in Cancún, Quintana Roo.
