Bombardier Aerospace Mexico (B.A.M) seeks an Engineering Professional, Materials and Processes to lead laboratory testing activities. The role requires collaboration with cross‑functional teams in aerospace projects and strict adherence to quality standards.

Applicants should have a degree in materials/chemical engineering or related field, 3+ years of laboratory engineering experience in aerospace, and strong communication skills to support continuous improvement in a high‑pressure environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in materials/ chemical engineering, aeronautical or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ Laboratory engineering experience in Aerospace.
• Advanced knowledge of ASTM, AMS and Military Standard specifications.
• Advanced knowledge of ISO 17025 quality systems and documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work under pressure.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Performs intermediate to complex testing execution by established procedures and standards.
• Prepare, review and approve Intermediate to complex testing report.
• Supports intermediate complexity projects of the Laboratory following the priorities defined by the section chief.
• Review and approve the internal procedures for laboratory testing.
• Review and approve equipment maintenance activities and development of usage procedures.
• Plans activities in field of expertise for mid-term range.
• Contributes to continuous improvement.
• Works on problems of diverse scope; applies knowledge to resolve intermediate to complex problems.
• Responds to internal/external customer requests and may interface with external collaborators on commercial.
• Collaborate with other groups to share knowledge/information.
• Provides training for staff as required.

How to thrive in this role?

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in materials/ chemical engineering, aeronautical or related field.
• You have a minimum of three (3) years’ Laboratory engineering experience in Aerospace.
• You have an advance Knowledge of Industry specifications (ASTM, AMS and Military Standard).
• You have advanced knowledge in quality systems and documentation (ISO 17025).
• You are an energetic person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a high sense of commitment, and a willingness to accept responsibilities while acting independently in a high-pressure partner/supplier team environment.
• You have advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office.
