LiveAuctioneers is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a backend team building reliable, scalable services powering payments, shipping, and core commerce experiences.

You will drive end-to-end delivery from design through production, coach engineers, and collaborate with Product, Operations, and Architecture to define the platform roadmap and ensure production-readiness, observability, and strong operational excellence.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience leading a cross-functional engineering team as an Engineering Manager.
• Proven hands-on background in backend systems development with GoLang, Python, PHP or similar tech stack.
• Deep expertise in microservices architecture and data ownership patterns.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Solid understanding of RabbitMQ and Kafka for event-driven workflows.
• Proficiency with MySQL in a microservices context.
• End-to-end software lifecycle experience including CI/CD, testing, and production deployments.
• Fluency with Agile methodologies and stakeholder collaboration.
