Job summary

Alila Hotels is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the operation and maintenance of its luxury hotel's facilities in Mexico's Yucatán region. You will ensure top performance of all equipment, oversee safety, and drive continuous improvement across the engineering team.

You will manage preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinate with contractors, and optimize energy-saving initiatives to deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance within the luxury hospitality industry.
• Experience leading preventive and corrective maintenance operations.
• Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems, HVAC, pools, water treatment, and hotel infrastructure.

This role will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs, as well as the effective management of the department’s human and material resources, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, operational efficiency, and an exceptional experience for both guests and colleagues

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance within the luxury hospitality industry.
• Experience leading preventive and corrective maintenance operations.
• Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems, HVAC systems, swimming pools, water treatment, and hotel infrastructure.
