RELX seeks a Software Engineering Lead to establish and guide a new squad in Mexico for a globally used SaaS platform in healthcare education. You will direct technical decisions, mentor engineers, and influence delivery at scale while partnering with engineering managers and globally distributed teams.

The role combines technical leadership, people leadership, and hands-on coding to drive architectural decisions, problem solving, and high-quality software delivery.

Formación

• Significant software engineering experience in production environments.
• Proven SaaS leadership experience and delivering at scale.
• Strong frontend/back-end balance with full-stack capability is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Build and lead a new cross-functional squad in Mexico.
• Provide day-to-day technical leadership and mentoring for engineers.
• Own technical direction for key modules, influencing architecture and design decisions.
• Lead architecture discussions with stakeholders and global teams.
• Deliver scalable SaaS solutions and unblock production challenges.
• Maintain hands-on involvement to stay credible technically.
