Job summary

You will work within a \"you build it, you run it\" engineering culture, partnering closely with product managers, designers, and senior engineers while gaining hands-on ownership of solutions in production. This role reports into the Digital & Commerce Platforms engineering organization and offers significant opportunity for growth through mentorship, AI-enabled development practices, and increasing technical ownership. **About the Job*** Design, develop, and deploy scalable features and services supporting digital commerce platforms, APIs, and event-driven architectures that serve high-volume consumer experiences.* Participate in production support and on-call rotations, helping investigate incidents, maintain runbooks, and contribute to post-incident reviews that improve system resilience.* Leverage AI-powered engineering tools to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, and documentation while validating all outputs for quality, security, and reliability.* Build and maintain automated testing solutions and contribute to code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, feature flag strategies, and safe deployment practices.* Instrument applications with monitoring, logging, and alerting capabilities while collaborating across global teams to continuously improve platform performance and customer experience. **About You*** 2+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering and supporting production applications.* Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, TypeScript/Node.js, Go, Kotlin, or Swift, with experience developing APIs and cloud-based solutions.* Hands-on experience using AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar technologies within the software development lifecycle.* Strong foundation in software engineering fundamentals including testing, debugging, data structures, source control, and CI/CD practices.* Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks and a willingness to support production systems through operational ownership and continuous improvement activities. **Preferred Qualifications*** Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies.* Exposure to infrastructure as code, containerization, and cloud-native platforms.* Familiarity with observability, site reliability engineering, or incident response practices.* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
