Schneider Electric is seeking an ambitious GSC Application Engineer to help build and enhance enterprise applications that empower Global Supply Chain operations. You will gather user requirements, translate them into scalable technical solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Recent graduate or early career professional with experience in application development, application support, software engineering, or related roles.
  • Advanced English proficiency with ability to communicate effectively with global teams.

What will you do?
  • Support and enhance business applications that enable critical Global Supply Chain operations
  • Collaborate with business users and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Troubleshoot application issues, analyze root causes, and implement sustainable solutions to improve system performance and reliability
  • Develop, test, and maintain application features, integrations, and reports that support operational excellence
  • Participate in code reviews, testing activities, and continuous improvement initiatives that promote development best practices
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and support procedures to ensure effective knowledge sharing
  • Monitor application health and contribute to incident, problem, and change management activities
  • Learn and apply emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies to drive innovation and business value

What qualifications will make you successful?
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Recent graduate or early career professional with experience in application development, application support, software engineering, or related roles
  • Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with global teams and stakeholders
  • Experience working with web technologies, databases, and programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, SQL, or related
  • Exposure to application lifecycle support, troubleshooting, incident management, or enterprise applications is a plus
  • Strong interest in software development, digital solutions, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ability to analyze technical problems, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across technical and business teams
  • Self-motivated learner with curiosity for emerging technologies and a growth mindset
