EDAG Mexico is seeking a Powertrain Development Specialist to join our team. You will manage documentation and traceability for technical changes and coordinate engine component development projects, including battery systems, across development stages.

You will support production line issue analysis and corrective action follow-up, and develop proposals with supporting data for cost optimization. Strong English skills are essential to collaborate with international teams and stakeholders.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience in the development of engine components.
• Knowledge of materials and their properties.
• Knowledge of engine parts and their peripherals.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering and fluids.
• Fluent English.
• German A2 (desirable).

Responsabilidades

• Manage documentation and traceability of technical changes.
• Coordinate and track engine and battery component development projects.
• Support production line issue analysis and corrective action follow-up.
• Develop proposals and provide supporting data for cost optimization and savings initiatives.
• Support project management activities, including release status reporting, stakeholder meetings, and progress monitoring.
• Track prototype and validation parts throughout the development process.
• Monitor testing activities and ensure timely follow-up on results, findings, and required actions.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of experience inside the automotive industry.
• Experience in the development of engine components.
• Knowledgeof materials and their properties.
• Knowledge of engine parts and their periferie.
• Knowledge of basic mechanical engineering and fluids. Basic knowledge of design programs (Pro-E, Catia, Creo).
• Fluent English.
• German A2 (desirable).
