EDAG Mexico is seeking a Powertrain Development Specialist to join our automotive engineering team in Puebla. You will manage documentation, coordinate engine and battery component development, and support production-line issue analysis.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in the automotive industry, experience with engine components, knowledge of materials, and proficiency with design tools such as Pro-E, CATIA, and Creo. Fluent English is required; German A2 is desirable.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience in the development of engine components.
• Knowledge of materials and their properties.
• Knowledge of engine parts and their peripherals.
• Basic mechanical engineering and fluids knowledge.
• Proficiency with design software such as Pro-E, CATIA, and Creo.
• Fluent English; German A2 is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Manage documentation and traceability of technical changes.
• Coordinate and track engine and battery component development projects.
• Support production line issue analysis and corrective action follow-up.
• Develop proposals and provide data for cost optimization and savings initiatives.
• Support project management activities, including release status reporting and stakeholder meetings.
• Track prototype and validation parts throughout the development process.
• Monitor testing activities and ensure timely follow-up on results and actions.

DESCRIPTION

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of experience inside the automotive industry.
• Experience in the development of engine components.
• Knowledgeof materials and their properties.
• Knowledge of engine parts and their periferie.
• Knowledge of basic mechanical engineering and fluids. Basic knowledge of design programs (Pro-E, Catia, Creo).
• Fluent English.
• German A2 (desirable).
