EDAG-Mexico is seeking a Powertrain Development Specialist to drive engine component development, manage documentation and traceability, and support production with issue analysis and corrective actions.

The role also involves developing cost-optimization proposals, supporting project management, tracking prototypes, and overseeing test activities to ensure timely actions.

Formación

• 2+ years in automotive industry.
• Experience in engine component development.
• Knowledge of materials and their properties.
• Knowledge of engine parts and peripherals.
• Knowledge of basic mechanical engineering and fluids.
• Basic knowledge of design programs (Pro-E, Catia, Creo).
• Fluent English.
• German A2 (desirable).

Responsabilidades

• Manage documentation and traceability of technical changes.
• Coordinate and track engine and battery component development projects.
• Support production line issue analysis and corrective action follow-up.
• Develop proposals and provide supporting data for cost optimization and savings initiatives.
• Support project management activities, including release status reporting, stakeholder meetings, and progress monitoring.
• Track prototype and validation parts throughout the development process.
• Monitor testing activities and ensure timely follow-up on results, findings, and required actions.
