Aurora Energy Research Limited in Mexico City invites applications for a Senior Research Analyst. Open to recent graduates or early-career professionals with up to 2 years of relevant energy-sector experience, based in CDMX, with strong quantitative skills.

You will develop analyses, work with the modelling team, engage with clients, and help shape insights and recommendations. The role offers autonomy, exposure to major energy sector decisions, and the chance to grow into an industry expert

Formación

• 0–2 years of relevant professional experience in energy or consulting.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Math, Economics, Physics, Engineering, Finance).
• Interest in power markets and policy frameworks.
• Ability to collect, analyse and interpret complex quantitative data.
• Proven teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in English (C1) and Spanish (C2).

Responsabilidades

• Develop timely and rigorous quantitative analyses to aid client decisions.
• Collaborate with modelling team to structure problems and derive insights.
• Contribute to Aurora’s product development by identifying new opportunities.
• Engage with clients to understand requirements.
• Present findings to clients clearly and concisely.
