Job summary

Talently is seeking an IT Security Engineer to design, implement and optimize endpoint protection across devices and servers. You will investigate SOC alerts, triage incidents, and coordinate remediation with IT teams.

The role requires strong knowledge of EDR/EDR tools, SIEM, and security best practices, plus fluent English and a Bachelor’s in CS or Info Sec or equivalent experience. You will participate in on-call rotations and stay updated on threats.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as IT Security Engineer, Endpoint Security Engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of security concepts, protocols and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with endpoint protection (EPP) and endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools.
• Experience with SIEM systems and incident response processes.
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, networking and cloud platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, manage and optimize endpoint protection solutions across desktops, laptops, mobile devices and servers.
• Investigate and respond to SOC alerts, performing initial triage, analysis and containment of security incidents.
• Track, prioritize and drive remediation of vulnerabilities found through scans, penetration tests or threat intelligence, working with relevant teams.
• Monitor security systems and networks for unusual behavior and put preventive measures in place.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify weaknesses.
• Develop, implement and maintain security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry best practices, regulations and internal guidelines.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate security solutions into the overall infrastructure.
• Stay up to date with the latest security trends, threats, vulnerabilities and technologies.
• Take part in the on-call rotation and respond to critical security incidents.
