Brown-Forman Corporation in Mexico is seeking a seasoned Production Planning professional to coordinate external bulk spirits production with contract packers and to manage procurement, budgeting, and SAP-based materials planning for US and Mexican markets.

You will work closely with distilleries and copackers to ensure timely bottling, quality control, and cost efficiency while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Formación

  • 5+ years of administrative experience in a production facility or 7–9 years with equivalent education/experience.
  • Analytical and organizational skills to translate large data into short- and long-term production plans.
  • Strong communication to convey data to management and to solicit planning data.
  • Proficiency in SAP or a similar MRP system, Excel, Word, and related software.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to develop working relationships with internal and external contacts.
  • Ability to work independently, perform multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in rapidly changing conditions.
  • Experience in food and beverage manufacturing standards.
  • Experience in purchasing, production planning, inventory control, and QA/QC.
  • Knowledge of SAP and management of dynamic Excel databases.

Responsabilidades

  • Plan external bulk spirit production with contract packers in Mexico for 10M 9-L cases annually.
  • Order concentrates, ingredients, bulk spirits, and packaging materials; manage stock transfers in SAP/R3.
  • Collaborate with Casa Herradura Distillery and copackers to ensure supply for US and Mexican markets.
  • Create the annual bottling budget with the Casa Planning Manager and Supply Planner.
  • Prepare volume assignments and production POs for copackers to meet the plan.
  • Create Bills of Materials in SAP/R3 to set new SKUs.
  • Set production priorities and issue POs for materials and copacker volumes.
  • Monitor production costs, yields, and cash-back differences with records.
  • Coordinate with CRT to secure DOT through bottling and QA supervision.
  • Support senior analyst with new product launches and cost-saving copacker options.
  • Order Tequila, JD bulk, flavors, and packing materials; communicate delivery dates.
  • Monitor production reporting and investigate discrepancies.
  • Process SAP/R3 postings and supplier/copacker invoices.
  • Reconcile inventory at copacker sites.
  • Order bulk Tequila and Whiskey for external locations.
  • Attend copacker production as needed; ensure critical control points.
  • Coordinate with QA Mexico on quality issues and contingency planning.

Responsibilities
  • Plan external bulk spirit production, bottling, and canning activities with contract packers in Mexico, managing an annual volume of 10million 9‑L cases.
  • Order all concentrates, ingredients, bulk spirits, and packing materials to be shipped to external manufacturing facilities, and handle SAP/R3 finished‑goods stock transfers and deliveries for sales, ensuring timely supply to the market.
  • Collaborate with the Casa Herradura Distillery for Tequila bulk supply and with copackers, planning the packing and raw‑material suppliers to guarantee an ongoing supply of materials and finished products of appropriate quality to the U.S. and Mexican markets.
  • Create the annual bottling budget for EMOMX with the Casa Planning Manager and Supply Planner.
  • Prepare volume assignments and production purchase orders for copackers to ensure they can produce against the agreed production plan on time.
  • Create bills of materials in SAP/R3 with the Data Master Analyst to set new SKUs and implement changes.
  • Set production priorities for copackers and determine necessary quantities for production, then create purchase orders for materials and copacker volumes based on required production levels.
  • Maintain records and data regarding production costs and copacker performance to confirm validity of cost submissions, yields, and cash‑back differences.
  • Liaise with the Tequila Regulatory Council (CRT) to secure Denomination of Origin Tequila (DOT) through bottling and quality supervision.
  • Support EMOMX Senior Analyst with new product initiatives, promoting successful launches and seeking opportunities to leverage copacker alternatives for cost savings.
  • Order Tequila, JD bulk, flavors, and packing materials, communicating material arrival dates and other information to copackers to ensure bottling program accomplishment.
  • Monitor production reporting, review for accuracy, and facilitate investigation of discrepancies.
  • Process posting of production in SAP/R3 (stock exchange and deliveries).
  • Process invoices for payment from suppliers, external manufacturers, and copackers in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile materials and finished‑goods inventory in SAP/R3 at copacker sites.
  • Order bulk Tequila and Whiskey for external manufacturing locations, both domestic and international.
  • Act as a backup to the EMOMX Senior Analyst for specification and process compliance.
  • Attend production at copacker facilities as needed, ensuring critical control point procedures are established and adhered to.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance Mexico when quality issues occur, monitor copacker performance, recommend performance improvements, and provide production contingency planning as needed.
Qualifications
  • 5+years of administrative experience in a production facility, or 7–9years of equivalent education/experience.
  • Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills, capable of developing practical short‑term and long‑term production plans from large volumes of information.
  • Strong communication skills to convey clear information to management and to solicit necessary data for planning.
  • Proficiency in SAP or a similar MRP system, Excel, Word, and other computer software programs.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships with internal and external contacts.
  • Ability to work independently, perform multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in rapidly changing conditions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with a diversity of people.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
  • Experience in food and beverage manufacturing standards.
  • Experience in purchasing, production planning, inventory control, and QA/QC.
  • Knowledge of SAP and management of dynamic Excel databases.
