GlobalLogic is seeking a QA automation specialist to join our Guadalajara team. The role focuses on automation testing for embedded software and IoT devices, with emphasis on wireless capabilities.

You will collaborate closely with hardware and software teams to ensure product quality throughout development. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience in QA automation, strong Python scripting skills, and hands-on work with Embedded Linux environments.

Formación

• 2-5 years of QA automation experience in complex software and IoT device environments (wireless preferred).
• Full-time on-site role at Guadalajara facility.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute automated tests for complex software systems.
• Solid understanding of embedded systems principles and their application in product development.
• Experience with Embedded Linux environments, including configuration and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, test automation, and data analysis in QA contexts.

Responsabilidades

• Implement comprehensive test plans to ensure reliable operation of mobile and embedded devices.
• Develop clear test reports and release notes for internal stakeholders.
• Analyze and provide detailed feedback to development teams on technical and functional issues.
• Maintain and optimize test environments to support robust mobile and embedded testing.
• Enhance testing processes and contribute to improvements in mobile development techniques.
• Document and track identified bugs in the designated tracking system.
• Analyze solution designs and provide feedback during peer reviews.
• Develop automated test scripts and frameworks for mobile and embedded applications.
• Perform root cause analysis for defects to enable timely resolution.
• Build and maintain regression test suites to ensure ongoing product quality.
