Ampstek is looking for a QA Automation Engineer in Mexico, Jalisco, to develop and maintain automated testing solutions for C#/.NET-based cloud applications. Key responsibilities include designing scalable automation frameworks, validating microservices in AWS, and conducting load testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of SDLC and continuous integration practices. The role involves working closely with developers to ensure high-quality releases and integration into AWS tooling.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing solutions for our C#/.NET-based cloud applications. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) in an AWS environment and is passionate about ensuring high‑quality releases through continuous integration and automated gatekeeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, or RestSharp (leveraging C#/.NET).
• Validate microservices and serverless architectures within AWS (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and API Gateway).
• Build and execute automated tests for RESTful APIs to ensure contract compliance and data integrity.
• Integrate automated test suites into AWS Code Pipeline or GitHub Actions to enable "shift-left" testing.
• Use AWS-native tools or JMeter to conduct load and stress testing on .NET Core applications.
• Identify, document, and track bugs in Jira, working closely with developers to perform root‑cause analysis in cloud logs (CloudWatch).
