Tech Mahindra in Guadalajara is seeking a QA Automation Engineer with a strong foundation in Java 11 to join our dynamic team. You will design, develop, and run automated test scripts to ensure software quality and performance, collaborating with developers and product managers to refine testing requirements.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Selenium, TestNG or JUnit, and a solid SDLC understanding.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in QA automation testing.

Responsabilidades

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with a strong foundation in Java 11 to join our dynamic team in Guadalajara. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our software applications. You will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to identify testing requirements and improve the overall quality of our products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java 11 and relevant testing frameworks.
• Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test data for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes.
• Document test results and maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding testing progress and issues.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in QA automation and software testing.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Java 11 is a deal breaker.
• Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Ability to write clear and concise test cases and documentation.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile environment.
• Basic understanding of database management and SQL.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
