AgileEngine is seeking an Elixir Engineer to build, maintain, and improve a growing software platform as an embedded member of the team. You will work with a small engineering group across different areas of the application, collaborating closely with product managers to translate user problems into technical solutions, own development from requirements to delivery, and integrate with services and APIs.

The role requires 2+ years of professional software development, strong Elixir/Erlang

Formación

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Elixir and/or Erlang.
• Solid understanding of functional programming principles.
• Professional experience building and maintaining production web applications.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Experience designing, consuming, or maintaining APIs and service integrations.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and modern development practices.
• Ability to own and deliver tasks independently.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Build, maintain, and improve the software platform using Elixir.
• Work across different areas of the application as part of a small engineering team.
• Collaborate with product managers to translate user problems into technical solutions.
• Participate in technical and product discussions and contribute to decisions.
• Take ownership from requirements to delivery.
• Build and maintain integrations with internal and external services and APIs.
• Work with PostgreSQL and the data layer.
• Write reliable, well-tested production code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the application.
• Contribute to platform evolution and engineering practices as the product grows.
• Communicate progress and blockers clearly with the team.
• Adapt to evolving priorities and responsibilities.
