Job summary

Ford Champ’s Electronic Systems team is seeking an Electrical/Systems student to design, develop, validate, and release parts for assigned programs. You will partner with Core Electronic Systems and vehicle program teams to ensure milestones are met and to look for design improvements for quality, cost, and weight.

You will work with suppliers and vehicle architecture engineers to package ECUs, manage tools such as JIRA and Teamcenter, and support builds and validation testing.

Qualifications

• Must have strong English skills (oral, reading, writing, listening).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Key interface between the Core Electronic Systems team and vehicle program teams to ensure all deliverables are met for each program milestone.
• Work with suppliers and Vehicle Architecture engineers to package different ECUs (CIM, DC/AC, HVPO, USB, TRM, AVAS, Horn, BBS, etc.) in vehicle environment.
• Manage VSEM, Teamcenter, FEDE, JIRA, AIMS, QED, WERS and Control Tech
• Lead supplier teams to support all builds with parts, CRs, and alerts. Support all program builds, lead vehicle level validation testing, and lead team to resolve issues.
• Review existing benchmarking data and obtains new data as required to assure best possible design and cost at J1.
• Contribute to corporate and department TVM (Total Value Management) and quality objectives.
