Hitachi Energy in Reynosa, Tamaulipas is seeking an Electrical Engineer to bridge Design Engineering with Production and Test teams to ensure high-quality transformer products are built efficiently and accurately.

You will act as the technical link between engineering and manufacturing, translating designs into production-ready instructions, providing guidance, troubleshooting challenges, and driving continuous improvement to manufacturability and operational excellence.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of transformer design principles.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Experience with CAD and ERP systems.
• Business-level English communication.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Act as the primary technical interface between Design Engineering and Production/Test teams.
• Interpret and communicate engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), scripts, and design intent to support manufacturing operations.
• Provide technical guidance to ensure designs are accurately implemented on the production floor.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges that arise during manufacturing and testing.
• Partner with Design Engineering teams to clarify specifications and improve design execution.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring issues and solutions are communicated effectively.
• Deliver training and knowledge-sharing sessions to support best practices and technical understanding.
• Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and design-for-manufacturability initiatives across the organization.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment supporting engineering, production, or technical operations.
• Knowledge of transformer design principles and the impact of design modifications on product performance and manufacturability.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, BOMs, manufacturing processes, and design-to-cost principles.
• Experience using engineering and business systems such as CAD and ERP platforms.
• Business-level English communication skills with excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities.
