Hitachi Energy in Reynosa, Mexico, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to bridge Design Engineering with Production and Test teams. You’ll help turn complex transformer designs into reliable, manufacturable outcomes on the shop floor.

In this role you’ll interpret drawings and BOMs, provide technical guidance, troubleshoot on the line, and drive design-for-manufacturability improvements. You’ll collaborate across functions, mentor peers, and support quality and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience supporting engineering, production, or operations.
• Knowledge of transformer design principles and impact on manufacturability.
• Strong interpretation of engineering drawings and BOMs; cost-conscious design.
• Experience using CAD and ERP systems; proficient English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the primary technical interface between Design Engineering and Production/Test teams.
• Interpret and communicate drawings, BOMs, scripts, and design intent for manufacturing.
• Provide technical guidance to ensure designs are implemented on the production floor.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during manufacturing and testing.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering to clarify specifications and improve execution.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation of issues and solutions.
• Deliver training sessions to support best practices and technical understanding.
• Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and design-for-manufacturability initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment supporting engineering, production, or technical operations.
• Knowledge of transformer design principles and the impact of design modifications on product performance and manufacturability.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, BOMs, manufacturing processes, and design‑to‑cost principles.
• Experience using engineering and business systems such as CAD and ERP platforms.
• Business‑level English communication skills with excellent problem‑solving, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities.
