Hitachi Energy in Reynosa, Mexico, is seeking a Project Manager to lead a portfolio of capital projects, product transfers, and new product introductions across one or more factories. You will collaborate with manufacturing, IT, real estate, HR, and supply chain to deliver results while upholding safety and quality.

You thrive in complex environments, align stakeholders, and drive process improvements to expand operational capabilities.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field.
  • 10+ years in project management, operations, or CI.
  • Experience managing capital or construction projects.
  • Proficiency with MS Project.

Responsabilidades

  • Define project scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Manage execution within approved budgets and schedules.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across locations.
  • Monitor performance and provide updates to leadership.
  • Build stakeholder relationships and manage risks.
  • Drive reporting through meetings and updates.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE policies and ITM processes.
  • Coach project teams to achieve objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.

How you’ll make an impact
  • Define project scope, timelines, and financial plans
  • Manage project execution within approved budgets and schedules
  • Lead cross-functional teams across multiple functions and locations
  • Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to leadership
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and act as escalation point for risks
  • Drive effective communication through reports, meetings, and updates
  • Ensure compliance with HSE policies and ITM processes
  • Coach and guide project teams to achieve objectives
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your background
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, operations, or continuous improvement
  • Experience managing capital or construction-related projects
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project)
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent communication skills in English; Spanish is an asset
